Spring Blooms and Blossoms — Celebrating Qingming

"At the joyous Qingming Festival, the peach and plum trees smile" — during the Qingming season, a gentle drizzle lends a quiet touch of tender remembrance and longing. Yet beyond its profound significance as a time to honor ancestors and pay respects to those who have passed, Qingming Festival is also a wonderful opportunity for families to venture outdoors together, embracing the beauty and vitality of spring!In this class, children will create their very own "Family Tree," and through this hands-on activity, naturally cultivate a heartfelt gratitude for their ancestors, a deep respect for their elders, and a warm appreciation for the gift of life. The class will also guide children through a rich array of traditional Qingming customs — including rolling spring pancakes, playing football, tug-of-war, archery, and planting bean sprouts — immersing them in the rich and enduring essence of festival culture. Additional activities such as egg painting, kite flying, and Tang poetry recitation are also thoughtfully arranged, allowing children to soak in the fresh, bright, and energetic spirit of spring in a lively and joyful atmosphere!
