Flowers in Bloom, Moon Round and Bright — Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival
花好月圓慶中秋
The moon that graces the night sky is both a marvel of astronomical science and a timeless vessel of longing — carrying across centuries the deep human yearning for family and reunion. On the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, as a full and luminous moon hangs high above, families gather together to celebrate the Festival of Reunion.Legend has it that a gentle Jade Rabbit dwells within the moon, tirelessly grinding and preparing the elixir of longevity for all humankind. To bow in reverent worship beneath the Mid-Autumn moon is to pray for eternal youth and lasting good health. The sweetness of mooncakes, the warm glow of lanterns, and the sound of laughter beneath the moonlit sky together weave the uniquely tender and irreplaceable memories of Mid-Autumn Festival. In this class, children will step into the colorful legends and rich customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and through the blending of story and culture, experience the most cherished values at the heart of Chinese culture — the importance of family and the longing for reunion. May this warmth, passed down across a thousand years, quietly take root in every child's heart!
