From the lavish Manchu-Han Imperial Feast — a grand spread of rare delicacies prepared through elaborate and intricate methods — to the heartwarming Laba Congee, brimming with symbolism of abundance and harvest, children will experience the remarkable depth and breadth of Chinese food culture.Red Tortoise Cake is a culturally rich traditional pastry widely beloved in Taiwan and Fujian, commonly seen at festive ceremonies, birthday banquets, and various celebratory occasions — symbolizing longevity and auspicious blessings. To conclude the class, each child will craft their very own Red Tortoise Cake by hand, feeling the warmth and charm of traditional food culture through every step of kneading, pressing, and steaming — and savor a bowl of hot, comforting Laba Congee, experiencing cultural heritage through every bite!Through this course, children will sharpen their five senses, cultivate focus and concentration, while gaining a rich understanding of culinary culture and tradition.
課程中,孩子將認識傳統米食文化與紅龜粿的歷史背景,同時走進中華飲食文化的精彩世界——從匯聚山珍海味、工序繁複的滿漢全席,到暖心暖胃、寓意豐收的臘八粥,感受中華飲食文化的博大精深。紅龜粿是富有文化意義的傳統糕點,廣泛流行於台灣與福建地區,常見於節慶祭祀、壽宴及各式喜慶場合,象徵長壽與吉祥祝福。課程最後,孩子將親手製作一個充滿古早味的紅龜粿,在捏、壓、蒸的過程中,用雙手感受傳統飲食文化的溫度與魅力,並品嚐一碗熱呼呼的臘八粥,體驗舌尖上的文化傳承!透過本課程,孩子能強化五感感知力、培養專注力,同時學習豐富的美食文化知識。
