Flag Formation

Throughout history, the flag has stood as a symbol of spirit and determination. With a flag in hand, one can project the commanding might of a thousand-strong army, while at the same time flowing with the grace and harmony of a river — reflecting the confidence and unity of a team moving as one.In this class, children will learn fundamental flag-wielding techniques such as the downward slash, the upward sweep, and the horizontal swing, transforming the flowing, silken fabric of the flag into an ever-changing visual spectacle at their fingertips. Through foundational flag formation training, children will not only experience the artistic beauty of balancing strength and fluidity found in kung fu and acrobatics, but will also forge resilience of character and cultivate team cohesion through dedicated practice — ultimately unleashing the one-of-a-kind, awe-inspiring presence that only a flag formation can command!
