Drum Formation

In ancient times, the drum was an important instrument in religious ceremonies and celebrations, and was used to boost morale during times of war. In warfare, loud, resonant drum sounds and flying banners were often used to intimidate enemies. Today, drum formation performances can be seen at lively and festive occasions. The clanging sounds of the drums stimulate the human spirit and guide everyone toward a brighter future.In this course, the instructor will introduce the types and functions of drums, and demonstrate the essential techniques and skills of drum striking. Students will learn the basic techniques of drum playing and master the rhythm and melody of drum music. Students will experience firsthand the impact and power of the "drum," and through hands-on practice, feel the magnificent momentum and cultural essence of drum formation art.
